Jerilyn Ito was raised in Kailua, Hawai'i. She is a graduate of Kailua High School, The University of Hawai'i School of Nursing, and has a Master's degree in Organizational Change from Hawai'i Pacific University. Jerilyn currently resides in Honolulu, Hawai'i. She enjoys every moment with her two young children and continues with a career in Nursing as she embarks on her dream to bring fun, family friendly stories, to the children of Hawai'i.

Brooke Wilmeth
Illustrator
Brooke Wilmeth was born in Virginia and moved to Hawai'i when she was five. She is a graduate of Punahou School and has a Masters Degree in Profound and Severe Disabilities from John Hopkins University. Brooke has used drawing as an invaluable tool both in the classroom and working privately with children. She currently lives in Maine with her partner and their new son.

Melissa Wong

As a military wife and mother of three, Melissa Wong has been blessed with a great family and an adventurous life. Born and raised on the island of Oahu by loving parents who encouraged her artistic bent, she was an island girl with a love of nature and an equal love of capturing nature on paper. Melissa dabbles in mediums such as colored pencil, acrylic, watercolors and oils with her latest interest being stained glass. Having graduated college with a Graphic Design degree, she has designed logos, brochures, invitations, signs, you name it. This is her first attempt at illustrating an entire book; no easy feat being that she is a busy mom working full-time, but one that she would gladly do again. being a military wife, she and her family may be moving on to their next duty station at anytime, and who knows what adventure that will present!
